Community concerns being addressed in Mablethorpe |
||
|
We know there have been concerns within the local area regarding the behaviour of an individual and now a group of associates who has been frequenting the town centre, and we want to reassure residents and businesses that these concerns are being listened to and acted upon. Our Neighbourhood Policing Team has been working closely with East Lindsey District Council following reports from members of the public. As part of this partnership approach, action has already been taken, including the issuing of a Community Protection Warning, with further enforcement measures being progressed where appropriate. We understand the impact that ongoing anti-social behaviour and nuisance can have on those who live, work and visit the area. While enforcement processes can take time and must follow the appropriate legal framework, please be assured that reports are being reviewed and acted upon. We would encourage anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour or experiences issues of concern to continue reporting them through the appropriate channels. Information provided by residents and businesses helps us and our partner agencies build the evidence needed to take positive action and ensures resources can be directed where they are needed most, alongside the wider demands being dealt with across the county. We would encourage residents and businesses to continue reporting incidents through the appropriate channels. While individual incidents may appear minor in isolation, reports help us and our partner agencies build a wider picture of what is happening, identify patterns of behaviour, and take the most appropriate action. • Report crimes, anti-social behaviour, disorder, threats or any concerns relating to public safety to Lincolnshire Police online or via 101. Always call 999 in an emergency or if a crime is in progress. | ||
